Lake Country, BC – The Building Division of the District of Lake Country is implementing changes that will make serving customers more efficient and effective.
The District of Lake Country has been administering a record number of building applications since 2019 and this trend is continuing. In 2021 the District issued 363 permits with a construction value of $92 million and already has over 100 applications in various stages of review in 2022.

Melissa Scaman, Executive Director of Lake Country Health gave Council an overview of the services Lake Country Health provides to the community, along with details on why funding in the amount of $23,370 is required in 2022. Tonight beginning at 6:30 pm Council will consider public input received since December, in response to the proposed 2022 budget.
